So this week saw us sipping Champagne and rubbing shoulders with the great and good (well absolutely fabulous actually!) of the bridal world and this could mean only one thing….White Gallery 2016!
White Gallery is the bridal equivalent of London Fashion Week. It is where the elite of the bridal world come together to showcase next season’s collections. It is where bridal trends are set, designers WOW on the catwalk and vie for our attention.
It is also where we search for the perfect dresses to add to our collection at Dress in Love and trust us when we tell you , it is hard work only made a little easier by drinking more Champagne!
So here is what we were loving…….
Metallics and colours were big this year. The soft nudes and blushes from last season have taken a big leap forward. We loved the soft rose gold and silver metalics from Ivory & Co.
Bolder colours and florals were a feature for Sassi Holford, Savin London and Charlotte Balbier
Capes and loose, long line cover ups were a feature on the Alan Hannah runway
Lace was still a firm favourite but with a new and innovative twists. 3D lace flowers, layers of lace upon lace and tattoo lace could all be found on the catwalks.
But our favourite thing this year?…..Meeting a fab new designer! Watch this space #weddingdressgoals
